High School - Thursday, September 5th at 7:15 PM

Sunday School (Middle/High School) Returns on Sunday, September 8th at 11 AM!

WHO: All Middle & High School Students, grades 6 through 12
WHAT: Play games, participate in local community service projects, learn more about Jesus, and attend weekly youth events.
WHERE: KIMC, upstairs in the youth rooms
WHEN: Sunday mornings at 11 AM; Wednesday evenings 6:30 PM (offsite for the summer)
WHY: Because you get to hang with your friends, play games, eat snacks and learn more about Jesus.

PARENTS/CAREGIVERS/GUARDIANS: Want an inside look at what your son or daughter is doing? Stick around sometime and see for yourself. Also...we occasionally need drivers, chaperones and adults to accompany our outings. Please contact Angie to see what's involved. Even volunteering once a year would be a blessing!

Regular Weekly Gatherings

We meet up twice during the week and youth may join in any time (bring a friend!). Please click on the ROOTS Event Calendar button below because we occasionally change things up.

Sunday Mornings at 11:00 AM - Come for a "Deep Dive" into the sermon: discuss how it may apply to our lives today. Also come for fun games and a snack.
Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 PM (offsite) Regular meeting of our Youth Group to discuss the Bible and enjoy games, crafts and snacks.

Service Projects

Our Youth Group participates in many local, community service projects. We volunteer with local groups including the Feed-A-Family Program in November, Haven Ministries, Kent Island Beach Clean Ups, and more!

Beach Cleanups

The Kent Island Beach Cleanups group holds local beach and area cleanups every year all around our community. This is a great way to help clean up and protect our environment and to earn service hours for school!! Adults are welcome and encouraged to attend too! All youth participants must have a signed Participation Form to join us. SIGNUP HERE!**

Appalachia Service Project

June 2023 trip - We partnered with the Appalachia Service Project, which brings together volunteers from around the country to rural Central Appalachia to repair homes for low-income families. Read more.
