Children's Ministry

Our "Good Soil Children's Ministry" is committed to providing a safe and loving environment for your child to grow in Christ. We want our church to be the "Good Soil" where children grow and flourish; where they make friends and feel welcome in our church family.

Safety is important! All teachers and volunteers are carefully selected and screened so that your child is not just protected but nurtured. Every volunteer must go through a background check and safety training as part of the Methodist Church MinistrySafe guidelines.

If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Susan Rudnickas, Children's Ministry Coordinator, at: [email protected].

Roots Youth Ministry

Our youth group activities and events are for all students in 6th through 12th grades. Please click the drop-down menu above for Roots Student Ministry.

Current Children's Programs

We offer activities and classes for infants through those in 5th grade. For more information, please click on the drop-down menu above for details on Ministry Safe. Training is required for everyone who interacts with children and youth in our church building, Sunday School, and Nursery.

Sundays

Children's Chapel - Pre-K to 5th Grade
Sundays during the 9:30am worship service, Room #106

**Please note: Children's Chapel will not meet on Sunday, December 21 (Children's Christmas Pageant at 11:00), Sunday, December 28, and Sunday, January 4.**

Children start out with their parents during the service, then are dismissed to hear a Bible story and participate in fun activities. Parents pick up their children following the service.

Jeanne Hurley returns as our Leader and Melissa Taylor is our Co-Leader. We are always looking for servants to help on Sundays during our 9:30 service. If you are interested in helping weekly, monthly, or even just one or two Sundays, please email our Children's Ministry Coordinator, Susan, at [email protected].
