Over the next three months, our pastors and lay leaders will be conducting forums (all starting at 6:30PM) as a place to ask questions about our affiliation with the Global Methodist Church, and to share what you would like to see our church offer in this new season. All are welcome! More information will be provided in the coming weeks.

A New Name
After voting to join the Global Methodist Church on July 20, and then taking name suggestions from members of our church and community on August 6, the top-scoring name tallied and voted upon by our Servant Leadership Team on August 10 (with 41% of the vote) is: Kent Island Methodist Church.
This new name will take effect after the Pen-Del Conference Trustees sign off on our disaffiliation, on or before October 31, 2023.
>> All paperwork and funding ($241,902.20) were delivered to the Conference office on October 3, 2023.
A final decision will be made by October 31.
